I am a core faculty member in the new low-residency MFA program at Oregon State University-Cascades. It’s an amazing, innovative program: a radical educational experiment modeled after the Black Mountain College. We live in communal residencies each November and June at the Caldera arts colony on a nature preserve in the mountains outside of Sisters, Oregon. Please feel free to contact me for more information about this truly unique program–I love talking about it!
I was as a faculty member in the low-residency MFA program at the University of Tampa from January 2013 to January 2014, and previously taught in the Stonecoast low-residency MFA program at the University of Southern Maine.
Before I moved to Maine, I was a tenured associate professor in the poetry program at Columbia College Chicago.
